MONTEVERDE CLOUD FOREST – HANGING BRIDGES & BUTTERFLY GARDEN
Monteverde Cloud Forest is one of the most diverse and interesting spots in Costa Rica. The high altitude creates a unique natural environment filled with wildlife, ripe with coffee farms and rich with culture.
STOP #1 – Enjoy an easy 1.5km hanging bridge hike set high above the treetops. This hike provides stunning views and a unique perspective of the area.
STOP #2 – Fuel up on a traditional Costa Rican lunch before heading to your next activity.
STOP #3 – Change the way you think about butterflies, insects, and arachnids with a visit to the Monteverde Butterfly Garden. Your guided tour will give you an up-close experience with a variety of insects and arachnids. You’ll stroll through 3 unique gardens full of up to 30 species of spectacular butterflies, and over 20 species of live insects and arachnids and get to view a leafcutter ant colony.
En route to Monteverde, we will have the opportunity to stop for breakfast (not included in tour cost).
